BLUFFTON COFFEE AND CHOCOLATE FEST RETURNS ON DECEMBER 14TH
After last year’s tremendously successful first-time event, coffee and chocolate lovers throughout the Lowcountry will once again have the opportunity to gather to sample the largest assortment of the finest gourmet coffees, desserts and chocolates – when the Bluffton Coffee and Chocolate Fest returns this year with even more decadent tasting treats. This year, the free outdoor event will be bringing together 16 of the region’s leading coffee roasters, specialty dessert-makers and chocolatiers all in the same place – attracting foodies, coffee aficionados and chocolate-lovers from throughout the Lowcountry (and beyond), and filling Bluffton with the mouth-watering aromas, and scrumptious tastes, of the region’s most beloved coffees and chocolates.
The 2019 Bluffton Coffee and Chocolate Fest will take place on December 14th from noon until 4 pm., on Calhoun Street. In addition to free samples and tastings from all of the vendors, the event will feature a “Cake Walk” and giveaways to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton. The event will also feature live music, as well as offer festival specials and gift packages — making the perfect holiday gift for those shopping for the foodie or coffee-lover in their lives. Admission to the event, which includes all samples and tastings, is free.
This year’s list of local vendors providing delicious samples and tastings at the event include: All Things Chocolate & More, Baby Cakes, Beloved Coffee Roasters, Beaufort Coffee Roasters, Corner Perk, Cup to Cup, Cupcakes 2 Cakes, Jeff’s Famous Cotton Candy, La Casita, May River Coffee Roasters, Savannah Coffee Roasters, The Cottage Café, Bakery & Tea Room, The Grind, The Juice Hive, The Purple Cow, and Twisted European Bakery. The event is once again being coordinated by Leslie Rohland, owner of The Cottage Café, Bakery & Tea Room, May River Coffee Roasters and the Juice Hive.
“Last year’s Coffee and Chocolate Fest attracted more than 3,000 coffee and chocolate lovers who enjoyed a day truly engulfing themselves in the sights, smells and tastes of the region’s finest coffees and chocolates,” said Rohland. “This year, with even more vendors and even more spectacular culinary treats from this amazing group of chocolatiers, dessert-makers and coffee roasters, the event promises to be even bigger, better … and more decadent.”
